  It doesn't matter if you are new to Zen meditation or have been practicing for millions of kalpas. This is a great Sangha with an awesome Abbot / teacher, residential practitioners, and a diverse group of community members.

  I have been coming to the center for the past 12 years several times a year (4 hours drive). I have finally found what I had been looking for for years...
  If you want to learn and practice REAL zen, dont go anywhere.

  I enjoy meditating @ ASZC. It's a nice quiet retreat center in the heart of the city.

  I have been going to the Atlanta Soto Zen Center regularly since 2002. I have always been greeted warmly and received the support of a warm, welcoming community of fellow meditators and Zen practitioners. They have a full schedule to support any needs, from beginner's introductory sessions weekly, to retreats structured to allow you ample opportunity to deepen your meditation practice in a supportive environment. I no longer live in Atlanta but find their retreat programs so valuable that I travel to Atlanta at least once per year to participate in their retreats. I highly recommend the ASZC to anyone looking for meditation and a supportive community of others looking to learn and practice the Zen path.
